“The project at 91 Chapel Street is the product of a creative collaboration between architect and developer. The vision was to develop a residential project that offers unique and affordable living space within the urban setting of Downtown Nanaimo. The form of the building evolved through a strong desire to offer every suite as much natural light, ventilation and view as possible. Separating the building into two masses meant that each suite could benefit from direct access to a private courtyard while maximizing the views over Chapel Street and Skinner Street. A creative use of materials generates interesting facades and an enduring street scape.”
